Wetherby High School maintains a high standard of uniform as part of the school ethos of the pursuit of high standards in  everything, mindful also of the link between positive attitude to learning and achievement.

Please could all items of uniform bear the pupil's name.

  White Shirt
  Black trousers
*School tie (Key Stage 3, Years 7, 8,9)
           (Key Stage Years 10 and 11)        
*Offical School jumper (optional)
  Plain black socks
  Sensible and safe black shoes
  (Trainers are not permitted.)

 White blouse (not fitted)
  Black trousers (tailored, not fitted)
  Black skirt (on the knee)
*School tie (Key Stage 3 tie for Years 7, 8, 9)
                    (Key Stage 4 tie for Years 10 and 11)

 Plain black tights or knee length socks in white or
 black
 Safe sensible black shoes, heels with a maximum
 height of two inches
 (Trainers are not permitted)

NOTE:   ABSOLUTELY NO SCHOOL SHOES TO BE WORN FOR PE OR GAMES

SCHOOL UNIFORM OUTDOOR WEAR

For male students
Tailored trousers and shirt, tie optional. 
 

For Female Students
Tailored trousers or business like skirt and blouse.

Please note:

    With regard to health and safety issues

 - Jewellery, other than watches, should not be worn. 
 - Pupils whose ears have been pierced may wear one pair of plain studs.
 - Hairstyle and length should be appropriate to a businesslike, working environment. 
 - Discreet make-up may be worn by girls in Year 10 and 11. 
 - Nail varnish may not be worn by any pupil. 
 - Items of clothing in denim are not permitted.
