 Parents: Lost Property

To avoid unnecessary loss please ensure all items of clothing and personal possessions are clearly named or labelled. There are usually numerous items in the school office that are never claimed. Unclaimed items are disposed of at the end of every term.

It is essential that pupils do not bring valuable items to school. Jewellery is not to be worn to school and may be liable to temporary confiscation. It is best not to bring very expensive pens, unless they can be kept in a pocket all the time.

Pupils should only bring the minimum of money to school as a sensible precaution.

General lost property is placed in the Lost Property Cupboard which is located in the corridor between Park Lane College and the Medical Room. Students are able to check this cupboard for themselves on any day but please make every effort to keep it tidy.

Found items of greater value will stored in the office for safekeeping and the student should be prepared to offer some identification of the object.

Please note that the school does not accept responsibility for the loss of mobile phones.   Pupils who bring mobile phones into school do so at their own risk.  If staff witness a pupil with a mobile phone out of their bags it will be confiscated.  If this happens on more than one occasion the parent will be required to pick up the mobile phone from the school office in person.
