EXTRA CURRICULUM:

Educational visits raise achievement by boosting self-esteem and motivation.

Away from the classroom environment it can also promote good relations between staff and pupils. More adventurous activities promote health and fitness and, of course, all visits are an enjoyable experience.

This philosophy is encouraged by Education Leeds and at Wetherby High School every visit is scrutinised to ensure it provides the correct educational balance for the pupils.

To ensure the safety of our pupils, staff follow strict guidelines when planning and organising visits. These efforts are rewarded with excellent feedback from pupils and parents.

Some visits develop social education and citizenship.  Adventurous activities or sports tours fall into this category.
