The Sanctuary

Wetherby High has formed a partnership with the Salvation Army to provide a range of training and learning opportunities to adult learners in Wetherby. The Learning Cafe is based in a previously derelict building on the school site. The building has been fully refurbished and now boasts a full compliment ICT facilities, disabled toilets and office space. Courses currently available include, numeracy, literacy and financial management.

The Salvation Army are also in partnership in regard to the whole area of inclusion.  The partnership has resulted in children being able to continue their education, when they may otherwise have been at risk of exclusion.
