Sporting Success - Kadeena Cox

Congratulations to Kadeena Cox in Year 12 who recently entered the Northern Championships for athletics on the 19th and 20th January 2008.  She ran the 600 metres and received a bronze award, completing it in only 7.93 seconds, which is the 4th best time ever for her club.  In the 200 metres she also beat her personal best by completing it in 26.43 seconds.

Kadeena trains twice a week at her local club and is hoping to travel with them to Malta in April and Portugal in May to enter international competitions.  In the future, she is hoping to enter the Commonwealth Youth Championsips and then hopefully the London 2012 Olympics.
