Ski Trip 2009 - Aprica in Italy

 

The school ski trip 2009 went to Aprica in Italy.

The trip was from Friday 13th February to 21st February and the group stayed at the Hotel Club Antares in Aprica.

    

                           

Aprica is surrounded by unspoilt alpine landscapes that are protected areas under Italian Law, and is one of the most popular holiday resorts in the region.

The Ski area has a fantastic reputation and the resort has an excellent snow record.  A series of parallel drag and chairlifts extend from one end of the village to the other, serving the extensive nursery area and provides access to higher slopes.

UPDATE The February half-term Ski Trip to Aprica in Italy was a huge success.  The weather was glorious, the ski-ing conditions were excellent and everyone had a brilliant time.  The students were a credit to the school and their behaviour was commented on by the hotel staff, the tour representative, and the ski instructors.  The launch night for the 2010 Ski Trip was held on Monday 30th March .  Next year's party will be going to the resort of Les Deux Alpes in France.   To view pictures of the trip - click here
